Welcome to the Hidden View Farm website!
The mission of Hidden View Farm is to bring local farm goods to our family, friends and neighbors. We also are developing a collection of beauty, skin care and household products that are safe for you and your family without the use of harsh chemicals. Our goals are to raise our animals and produce products that are free of pesticide, antibiotic, harsh chemicals and hormone free. We bring our animals up in a safe, clean environment where they are cared for with affection every day. In general, we try to be environmentally friendly by using, solar power, collecting rainwater, composting, LED lighting and use recycled & recyclable packaging for our products.
We are based out of a small town in Connecticut called Wolcott. Over the past ten years we have strived to create a local food source without impacting the environment. This was done by installing solar power, which allowed us to produce all of our animal feed and vegetables in our hydroponic systems. These systems are kept indoors year-round to ensure that we are always producing crops even in the harsh New England winters. We enjoy visits from our customers and you’re support is important to us. Our property has been evolving into a small farm and we look forward to sharing all that we have to offer:
- Grass-Fed Beef
-no hormones only our hydropoinc grass and pasture grass goes in
- Chicken Eggs
– naturally lower in cholesterol due to flax seed and hydroponic grass

Organic Products on our site:
All of the products in the this collection are USDA Organic Certified!
Our current organic offerings are created by Vermont Soap. It is simply not cost effective at this time for us to make our own organic products from scratch. We either buy them wholesale and list them under the Vermont Soap brand or buy the base products that are organic and make them available for sale under our brand.
Organic Certification makes it official. Click here to the Vermont Soap organic certificate.
The USDA organic program is the gold standard of natural world-wide. Certified Organic MEANS audited natural from farm to bottle.
The process started back in June, 2003, when our factory became certified as an Organic Processor. This involved demonstrating an understanding of USDA Organic Regulations, and developing a system to separate Organic raw materials, work in progress and finished goods from non-certified raw materials, work in progress and finished goods. All finished labeling must be approved for compliance with Organic Labeling Standards. A great working relationship with our Certifiers; North East Organic Farmers (NOFA) and Vermont Organic Farmers (VOF), made the process significantly less painful than it might have been.
